I just learned the term "global south" the other day.

Chances are if you are a millennial from here, you did this with a plastic (lylon ❤) bag as a child. You spent hours doing this dumb/dangerous things.

Pop. Pop. Pop.

To my global south people, chances are you know what it's like to streets covered with shit. I bet you know what's it's like to be second class citizen in your own country. Chances are some of your wildest fantasies as a kid involved running off to America, rocking out in a gigantic fur coat and getting your first nose job. I bet you have a sick imagination, the kind of miscreant who turns garbage into playthings. There is a whole lot of stuff that unique to us, that the west doesn't know two shits about. We make it work. And for those of us who ran or are in the "diaspora" I bet you know this too. We will always recognize each other.

Garbage girls. Garbage boys. This is our experience. Pop dat thang like magic.
